Equipment
- 22 x 10 cm (10 x 3 inches) bundt cake pan or similar volume loaf cake pan.
Ingredients
- 1 can or 14 oz condensed milk
- 4 eggs (room temperature)
- 40 grams (1.5 oz) melted butter
- 120 grams (1 cup) all purpose flour
- 10 grams (2 teaspoons) baking powder
- Some orange or lemon zest for flavour
Instructions
- Set the oven to heat to 160° C or 320° F.
- Grease the cake pan with soft butter or oil and put it aside.
- In a bowl mix eggs and condensed milk.
- Add in the bowl and mix in the melted butter.
- Sift in the flour and baking powder.
- Mix the batter by hand using a wooden spoon or a spatula until everything is well integrated and the batter is smooth.
- Mix in the orange or lemon zest.
- Put the batter in the prepared pan and put it in the oven to bake for approximately 40 to 50 minutes till the cake looks nice and golden brown.
- Check the cake by inserting a toothpick in the middle. The cake is ready of the toothpick comes out clean and dry. Otherwise bake the cake for a few more minutes and check again.
- Remove the cake from the oven and let it cool in the pan for a few minutes before removing it from the pan.
